The Subclass 190 Skilled Nominated visa is a permanent residence visa for skilled workers nominated by an Australian state or territory government. State nomination adds 5 points to your score and often comes with occupation lists not available under the 189.
Eligibility requirements
- Nominate an occupation on your target state/territory's occupation list
- Receive nomination from a state or territory government (adds +5 points)
- Obtain a positive skills assessment
- Score at least 65 points including the nomination points
- Be under 45 at time of invitation
- Have Competent English or higher
- Commit to living in the nominating state for the required period
