The Subclass 186 Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) visa is a permanent visa for skilled workers nominated by their Australian employer, via the Temporary Residence Transition, Direct Entry, or Labour Agreement streams.
Eligibility requirements
- Be nominated by an approved Australian employer for a permanent position
- Direct Entry: have a full skills assessment and 3 years of relevant experience
- TRT: have held a 482 and worked for the sponsor for the required period
- Be under 45 (with some exemptions)
- Have Competent English
- Meet health and character requirements
